We offer full service design and installation services for any type of food-producing landscape. We specialize in customized raised veggie beds, herb gardens, food forests and campus gardens for schools, corporations and community organizations.
Position Summary
This position is responsible for carrying the client experience from scheduling of consultations to the provision of a design, proposal and budget. This involves first meeting the client at their location and advising them on the foodscape possibilities for their landscape. This consultation is followed by seeing the process through design, bidding, and scheduling of a potential installation. Finally, by working with the installation manager the project will be brought to completion.
This position will perform a wide variety of landscape designs related to residential properties. These include raised bed gardens as well as edible perennial landscapes.
Specific duties will be performed based on professional training and experience, with support, training and supervision from our existing designers.
Responsibilities/Activities
Participate in weekly team meeting and any additional design meetings necessary
Work with Install Manager to ensure scheduling and client communication success
Complete Site Analysis: includes on-site visit with clients to work on goal articulation, site measurements, etc.
Complete Designs: includes materials, dimensions, etc.
Work with clients to determine the final selection of materials for the project
Follow-up with the client to keep them informed of the progress
Identify client's feedback and ensure we answer all concerns
Compile all items needed for a sales presentation
Visit site when needed to ensure proper installation of the landscape
Occasional assistance on installs and maintenance is expected
Familiar with or willing to learn Google Workplace, Click Up, Slack, Quickbooks
Preferred Qualifications
Formal training in landscape design/horticulture and/or 2-5 years directly relevant experience
Proficiency of Auto-Cad or similar landscape design presentation program
Current drivers license
