The Role:
Ticketmaster is looking for a Senior User Experience Designer to join our growing UxD team. Reporting to the Director of User Experience, the designer will be responsible for creating best-in-class designs for the next generation of ticketing tools and applications. From complexity to clarity, we are seeking candidates who can translate business requirements into highly usable clean experiences. The selected candidate will have a proven track record of designing effective, highly functional solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed wireframes, interaction models and user flows for complex web applications, websites and mobile applications
Design the end-to-end experience through specs, prototypes, and comps
Collaborate with design team, product management, and stakeholders on requirements
Promote design thinking and advocate design principles and best practices
Produce UxD guidelines and standards to provide consistency across applications
Provide support to engineering team during implementation
Collect data through user research, field studies, usability tests, and user feedback
Manage multiple projects in fast paced environment
Qualifications:
3-5 years professional design experience in web applications or enterprise software
Intimate Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
A solid understanding of designing intuitive site functionality, interaction, site architecture, user interfaces, and navigation
Strong visual skills in producing comps, icons, and other assets
Basic working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
Thorough understanding of user-centered design and web standards
Self-motivated with excellent presentation and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in relevant design or technology field
Must provide portfolio
