Interior Designer II - HiTouch

**Join our HiTouch Business Services Team and support the furniture design process.**
**What youll be doing:**
Responsible for design support for multiple Furniture account executives (FAEs)
Accompany FAEs to customer locations for field measurement verification, customer interface, furniture specification, space-planning, design, and workspace solutions
Provide monthly consolidated reports relative to teams queue, won projects, and prospect account activity from FAEs
Develop client relationships within account managers books of business, relationships with strategic level accounts, direct relationships with preferred manufacturing partners and preferred service providers
Accountable for continuing education, continuous improvement, adherence to division and company policies
Will be asked for input on short-term and long-term goals and objectives
**What you bring to the table** :
Meeting revenue and margin budgets, winning new business, improvements in respective teams performance, and improvements in team members skillset
New ideas, methods or techniques related to contract commercial furniture business.
Focus on preferred manufacturing lines and best practices within division guidelines, developing key client and vendor relationships.
Continuing education on internal processes, market development strategies, and current market trends by geographic coverage areas.
**Qualifications :**
**Whats needed- Basic Qualifications:**
Design degree or equivalent job-related experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial contract furniture design and space planning
Professional presentation skills
Ability to manage projects from inception to occupancy
Excellent communication skills with external and internal customers, ability to convey ideas clearly and concisely
Work closely with corporate designers, Architect & Design firms, general contractors, project management companies or individuals, and end-users all at every level of engagement
Detail-oriented
**Whats needed- Preferred Qualifications:**
CIDQ or NCIDQ preferred but not required
Experience in Auto-Cad, Cap 2020, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Presentation preparation, interior design, interiors color boards, local travel is frequent, overnight travel is less than 20%.
