Prestigious Global Firm is currently seeking a Sr. User Experience UI/UX Designer. Candidate will create design artifacts and assets using Firm approved tooling and complying with the Firm's design system and style guide for all client-facing applications. This position requires participation and presentation in recurring and ad-hoc meetings with practice area stakeholders, IT Management, and application development teams (which may be a third-party).
The Senior UX Designer will supply modern experience designs applying industry best practices. They will be an innovative thinker with the ability to drive process improvements and lead Firm design consultants to ensure compliance with design standards, systems and Firm processes.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the development and delivery of effective user interfaces including:
Site design (color, logo, etc.)
Design new flows/areas of the system consistent with overall site structure
Information Architecture (navigational and page structure, taxonomy and categorization when applicable).
Design new personas and roles as discovered during the design of new workflows
Administration structure/pages
New page design
Messaging and notification
Sub-site design and governance
Reporting capabilities
Effectively communicate your designs to developers and other key stakeholders.
Presentation of integrated applications, where applicable.
Manage design libraries and design systems with adherence to product branding requirements.
Support the QA team to make sure features are implemented as intended.
Address product, marketing and business needs.
Assist with user research, interviews, surveys and usability studies, translating findings into wireframes and prototypes.
Conduct, observe and analyze usability testing sessions.
Conduct industry research and stay up-to-date on best practices, competitor designs and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a business or information management field such as Information Science, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
10 years of UX design experience.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to present work to executives and large groups.
Strong negotiation skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Proactive, independent working style.
Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to perform in a fast paced, high stress environment under minimal supervision.
Outstanding customer service orientation and work ethic.
Extensive experience designing for complex, enterprise-level Software as a Service applications, internally and externally facing.
Strong typography, layout and visual design skills.
Ability to lead and direct design thinking for a wide range of products.
Expert knowledge of experience and visual design principles and techniques.
Expert knowledge of responsive design.
Ability to innovate and develop out-of-the-box solutions, when appropriate, to complex interaction problems and to use proven patterns rather than reinvent.
Desire to learn and grow as a designer.
Proven experience mentoring or managing other designers
Technologies/Software
Experience with Azure DevOps.
Experience with Figma and design systems preferred.
Experience with Atomic Design is a plus.
Experience with information architecture is a plus.
Working knowledge of industry tools: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, InVision, Sketch.
Experience with ideation and creation design deliverables: Sitemaps, user flows and journeys, wireframes, lo-fi and hi-fi layouts, rapid prototypes.
Experience with HTML5/XHTML, CSS3 and the use of various Javascript frameworks in interface design.
