Humana's Experience Strategy and Transformation (ES&T) Design team was formed to deliver one thing: a personalized, seamless, and easy healthcare experience for all of our members. This team operates with a mandate to break down traditional silos and design solutions based on how our members seek and receive care, not how operating groups structure themselves. As designers we understand the importance stellar graphic design plays in breaking down complexity and telling our member's story to build empathy and alignment for meaningful change.
As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will be reporting to the Director of Strategy, your role will have shared responsibility in finding ways to grow our membership by delivering desirable experiences to consumers that improve clinical outcomes and help members achieve their best health, while driving profitability to support the long-term sustainability of our offerings. You will be the person who sets the tone and system for how we tell our stories visually, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team comprised of business strategy, design strategy, product strategy, business intelligence, data analysis, and product and experience orchestration. Graphic Designer your core responsibility will be the design and production of the strategy artifacts that require infographics, storytelling, visualization, and communication materials for the Experience Strategy Design Team.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Design, Communication Design, or similar
3-5 years of relevant professional experience in graphic design
Understands Communications Design as a discipline and a practice
Deep understanding and competency in designing for a multitude of visual touchpoints from print and collateral design to digital media and interactive design
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to demonstrate exceptional understanding of layout and typography
Advanced level PowerPoint, Figma or sketch, Miro, Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign or other communications design software
Ability to quickly illustrate new ideas, concepts, and experiences visually to aid in storytelling and alignment toward a common north-star
Excellent time management skills, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic, complex environment
Familiarity with rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digital prototypes
Understanding of areas of specialization within the greater design landscape, including service design, design strategy and design research
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to productively collaborate across various organization/functions
Portfolio required
Preferred Qualifications
Illustration and or animation skills either digitally or hand drawn
Ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks with competing deadlines
Understanding of the unique regulatory and non-regulatory complexities and challenges of healthcare
