The Opportunity 

The Nutanix Creative team has a full-time position open for a motion graphics designer and producer to assist in developing Nutanix stories through video and motion graphics.

Your Role: 

Help develop content for the entire company and partners with employees and customers worldwide.

Understand a creative brief, be comfortable pitching creative concepts, and communicating complex concepts to stakeholders.

Follow process from intake, storyboarding, production, and delivery.

Follow brand guidelines to craft a unified brand experience for the customer.

Understand the importance of sound design in creating animation with impact.

What You'll Bring:

5 years experience in After Effects or similar animation software

Adobe Creative Suite knowledge is a must, including editing in Premiere Pro

Storytelling ability, turning complicated concepts into creative, easy to understand narratives

Experience shooting, lighting, and all things production is a big plus

Experience creating and maintaining Essential Library templates

Knowledge of the animation process from storyboards to final render

Mastery of animation principles

Strong illustration and design skills

3D animation knowledge would be a plus

Able to complete projects in an independent and timely manner

Comfortable working with stakeholders, and senior leadership, to shepherd projects from concept through final execution.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $76,800 and $154,800 /year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
