Description
The Lead Design Strategist is a senior individual contributor and subject matter expert on human-centered design. They work within a cross-functional agile team to create and drive the design and delivery of experiential and digital products that support Humana's new customer-centric operating model as brought to life by our Journey Program.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Drive learning, research and execution to uncover insights and opportunity areas impactful to both our internal customers and Humana at large.
Drive design and development of Humana's Journey Atlas product in partnership with Product Strategy.
Facilitate cross-functional teams to build empathy, synthesize findings into insights and generate business recommendations that drive impact.
Generate and thoughtfully articulate future concepts and experience roadmaps that envision how people will interact with the products and services we design.
Define test and learn experiments to address critical uncertainties and key experience and performance indicators.
Collaborate and co-create with product teams and business partners.
Create communication artifacts that define experience design as a practice within the Enterprise Agility & Change organization.
Required Qualifications
5-8 years of relevant industry experience.
Bachelor's design degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Demonstrated experience working with multiple cross-discipline teams (both technology and design)
Preferred Qualifications to Set Yourself Apart
Extensive knowledge of and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes for experiential products.
Accustomed to working collaboratively with end users and cross-functional team members.
Understanding of areas of specialization within the greater design landscape, including but not limited to design research, visual design, and content design; willingness to broaden own skillset into adjacent specializations while refining mastery of primary skillset.
Ability to create decks, experience maps, user journeys and service blueprints, interaction models, flows, and wireframes.
Knowledge of rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digital prototypes.
Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision or similar, and Azure is a plus.
