Creative Director Social

Critical Mass is looking for a senior social media leader to work with our team and our base of national and international clients. As an integrated digital agency, the Creative Director, Social Media will need to be comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams (strategy, project management, analytics) and cross-office on both stand-alone social assignments and integrated digital assignments where social is a key component.

A strong leader, the right candidate will possess the ability to motivate and develop our internal teams, while also earning the respect of clients with unquestionable expertise and sound strategic counsel.

Responsibilities:

-Social media strategy development for new and existing clients that demonstrate deep insight and platform expertise

-Develops and/or approves statements of work to ensure appropriate budgets are allocated to ensure success

-Oversight of social media execution that creates valuable experiences between people and brands

-Collaboration on analytics and measurement that drives to ROI

-Uncovering new tools, opportunities, behaviors that drive our thinking forward

-Creating standards and frameworks that can be shared globally

-Represent the agency as an industry thought-leader

-Acts as performance manager for social planners and/or community managers

Required Skills:

-7-10 years of digital experience (3-5 years directly related to social media) in marketing, media, PR or social media

-Experience with interactive marketing and content distribution: social media, digital media, and search.

-Experience with enterprise level social media monitoring, publishing and media optimization tools

-Proven ability to identify and present online media and social measurement and metrics at a high client level

-Experience working with complex clients delivering annual services revenues in excess of $2MM each; Fortune 100 experience a plus

-Team oriented with demonstrated success working with remote or decentralized team

-Keen sense of creative thinking and problem solving; proven track record of entrepreneurialism

-Resourcefulness and adaptability: Proven abilities in proactive problem solving and goal achievement through non-conventional methods
