The Hive is Humana's in-house agency, a creative collective built exclusively to support the business and the brand. We are responsible for creative content development across all media and enterprise brand identity management for a diverse portfolio of Humana brands. Our core purpose is to create compelling brand expression and cohesive consumer experiences that enhance brand perception, build trust, and influence choice.

Responsibilities

The Professional 2, Creative Development role designs brand identity systems and creative content for integrated marketing campaigns. The Motion Graphics Designer uses 2D and 3D animation to bring static images to life, develops a range of stylistic and technical solutions against a creative brief, and drives quality at all stages of the development process.

To be successful in this role, you are a curious, conceptual thinker with a critical eye and attentive to details. Your portfolio demonstrates your ability to translate business and brand objectives into engaging creative content.

Collaborates with agency team and marketing partners to develop animated video concepts and produce motion graphics.

Translates creative strategy into a range of stylistic and technical solutions that express the brand and fulfill the business objectives defined in the creative brief.

Advances creative projects from concept to completion with minimal supervision, proactively solicits feedback from agency leadership, and ensures timely deliverables.

Under the supervision of the Creative Director, produces animated stories from concept to completion including motion, visual effects, asset creation, compositing, editing and rendering.

Prepares final render in specified file format.

Attentive to industry trends, provides recommendations for tools, process, and best practices.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a creative field and an industry competitive motion graphics portfolio.

Minimum 3-5 years of professional creative development experience in an agency environment.

Advanced conceptual skills and mastery of design fundamentals.

Advanced production skills and acute attention to detail.

Strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to deliver and apply constructive creative feedback.

Effective time and resource management in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.

Mastery of industry standard design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office software.

Proficiency with Agile methodologies.

Occasional travel may be required to collaborate with agency team

Preferred Qualifications

A diverse portfolio which includes motion graphics, print, digital and environmental applications.

Video editing experience.

Active participant in marketing/creative industry professional communities.

Additional Information

Agency located in Louisville, KY but qualified applicants will be considered for remote work
