This includes supporting the design team lead in the creation of print / pattern, silhouette through the use of Photoshop, illustrator and Kaledo software. A working knowledge of Sweaters / knitwear an asset. The Associate Designer is also involved in the administrative functions related to the development of product.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand multiple design aesthetics for brand development with the ability to multitask multiple brands, multiple accounts, and multiple seasons simultaneously.Strong ability to see a project through from concept to development while adhering to corporate calendar.Design & sketch trend right saleable product in collaboration with Design Lead.Conduct Seasonal design and market research.Create compelling trend boards with the ability to conceptualize and develop ‘Big Ideas - Initiatives’.Executive and design patterns for development using Illustrator, Photoshop & Kaledo.Responsible for handlooms, strike off & knitdown comments including layout, color & handfeel and entering comments within Centric PLM.Prepare seasonal line presentations for the sales team using 3D technology.Attend and participate in product fittings.Process account buys (CM’s & Ad Revs) submitted from sales.Coordinate correct information to Product Administrator for line list set up & development as well as model / block development.Assist in preparing costing sheets for submission to GSC team.Various other duties, projects & responsibilities may fall under this role on an as needed basis.Experience:2-3 year’s related experience requiredBachelor’s Degree or EquivalentSkills: Highly creative individual with a strong color sensibility for palette building and color matching is a mustWovens, Knit & Sweater background with a strong working knowledge of fabrication a plusKnowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Kaledo, 3D & Centric PLM & Excel recommendedAbility to handle multiple seasons and multiple brands at one time within established deadlines PVH Corp. or its subsidiary (\PVH\) is an equal opportunity employer and considers all applicants for employment on the basis of their individual capabilities and qualifications, consistent with applicable law and without regard to race, color, sex, gender identity or expression, age, religion, creed, national origin, citizenship status, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability, military status or any other characteristic protected under federal, state or local law.
